AI at Protected B, accountable by design.

Departments are under pressure to adopt AI and under obligation to stay accountable for it. Globenova lets a department put AI to work at Protected B while keeping data in its custody, in its jurisdiction, and on the record.

The challenge

Adopt AI, and stay answerable for what it does.

Public servants want modern AI tools, and the public expects the institution to remain accountable for how citizen information is used. Commercial platforms accept anonymous agent traffic and offer the department little it can show an assessor. The path to an Authority to Operate runs through ITSG-33 and Protected B handling, data residency in your jurisdiction, and an evidence trail. The need is to let departments adopt AI without exfiltration risk, in both official languages, and to produce the evidence a security assessment requires.

How Globenova applies

Two instruments, one closed loop.

Sentinel · at the wire

Detection at the wire

Every prompt, retrieval, tool call, and response your teams' AI makes passes through Sentinel first. It classifies what is flowing and who is handling it, then allows, redacts, blocks, or escalates in real time, and records every decision to a tamper-evident log. For a department it sits at the boundary, classifies every operation, blocks what should not leave, and produces the evidence a security assessment and an Authority to Operate require.

Forge · in the enclave

Synthesis where data cannot travel

Forge generates high-fidelity synthetic data inside your environment, so models can be built and tested without the protected source ever leaving custody. Departments build and test AI on synthetic data generated inside their environment, so protected source information is never exposed during development.

What it handles

Built around the data and the rules you already work to.

Data it classifies

  • Protected A and Protected B information
  • Citizen and case information
  • Personnel and program records
  • Standard personal information
  • Cross-program scoped material

Frameworks it is built to

  • ITSG-33 Profile 3
  • Protected B handling and the Authority-to-Operate pathway
  • Government direction on cloud-resident sensitive workloads
  • Directive on Automated Decision-Making alignment
  • Official Languages and AODA on the operator experience
In practice

What it looks like inside a department.

01

Adopting enterprise AI at Protected B

A department lets staff use enterprise AI. Globenova sits at the boundary, classifies every operation, and blocks what should not leave, with each decision recorded.

02

Evidence for an Authority to Operate

Every decision is written to a tamper-evident log, so the controls in a security assessment can be substantiated by records rather than narrative.

03

Bilingual by obligation

Operators are told why something was blocked in their working language, in English and French, meeting Official Languages obligations.

04

Build on synthetic data

Forge generates synthetic data inside the department's environment, so AI is developed and tested without exposing protected source information.

Posture

Built toward departmental assurance.

Globenova is built for these frameworks and is designed to support them in deployment. These statements describe what the platform is engineered toward, not a claim of certification by any regulator.
