This policy explains how Globenova AI Inc. handles personal information collected through this website and in the ordinary course of our business, consistent with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy law.

01Scope of this policy

This policy applies to globenova.ai and to personal information we collect when you contact us, request a briefing, or otherwise correspond with us.

It does not govern personal information processed inside a customer deployment of our products. Information handled within a customer's environment is governed by our agreement with that customer and by the customer's own controls, and the customer is the party accountable for that information.

Information you give us. When you request a briefing or write to us, we collect the details you provide, which typically include your name, organisation, work email, telephone number, and the content of your message.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, our hosting and analytics tools may record technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages you view. We do not seek special categories of sensitive personal information through this site.

03Why we collect it

We use personal information to:

• respond to your enquiries and briefing requests, and correspond with you;
• operate, secure, maintain, and improve the website;
• meet our legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or cross-context behavioural tracking.

By submitting information to us, you consent to its use for the purposes described above. You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. Withdrawing consent may limit our ability to respond to you.

We prefer Canadian-resident infrastructure for this website and our business records wherever practicable. Where a service provider processes information outside Canada, that information may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which it is held. We take reasonable steps to ensure a comparable standard of protection through our contracts with those providers.

07Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

To make a request, contact our Privacy Officer below. We will respond within the timelines required by law and may need to verify your identity first.

This site is intended for a professional and institutional audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
